A scene from Lord Jagannath Temple, Puri

I don’t know whether this image is a real one or a photoshopped one. But this is the actual scene that is performed inside Shree Mandir in Puri. I am doubtful about the authenticity of this image because normally nobody is allowed to take a pic inside the temple. But still it is a greeting step to post this pic, because people who are not allowed inside the temple (as a rule) can also witness the worships that go on in the temple. The three sevakas (Panda) are standing on the ‘Ratnavedi’, the platform with gem stones (name of the platform) and performing the prescribed rite of attiring the three God.

  1. It is the sweet will of Lord Jagannath that this photograph should reach his worshipers outside the temple. Why camera is not allowed into Shreemandir is known to everyone. It is the monopoly of daitapatis only.If somebody says that the Eskimos, Muslims, and Christians have been made by some other God then it is alright!!! Jay Jagannath. It is real Ratnavedi and the place is interior of Shreemandir Puri. Many many thanks to the uploaders.
