God is always there for the devotee to help

Jay Mata Di.

I would like to narrate my today’s experience when I felt that God is always there for the devotees to help. Here is the incident:

Background

One of my teeth was aching for the last 4 to 5 days. Hence I consumed medicines from the medical store with consultation of the medical shop owner. Normally many people do like this. But as the problem could not be solved, I decided yesterday to visit the hospital today that is on Tuesday.

Things to worry

These days, due to Covid 19 pandemic, it is very risky to visit a hospital so that I should not get infected. Secondly, the said tooth had cavity and one side wall of it had broken one year ago. Hence, this tooth was often aching since last one year on several occasions. But I was tackling it with pain killer medicine. I mean to say; today I was almost prepared that if doctor gives his nod, it is better to get this tooth extracted. However, I know the extraction process is very painful. I had experienced it long ago when I had extracted another tooth. Thirdly, I was setting out for the hospital alone as nobody else was there to go with me. So, in case I would faint, there is hardly any solution.

Today’s episode

Although I could not sleep yesterday properly, I became ready to visit the Hospital by 10 am. I was frightened for many things. I entered the God’s room in our house, paid my obeisance and prayed Durga Maa. There were a lot of negative probabilities that I was going to face and nobody can help out if really things turn worst the way I was thinking. So, I prayed to Durga Maa – I am going to the hospital because that cannot be stopped now. Please provide me blessings so that everything gets executed properly.

At the hospital

Blessings poured in. I reached the hospital without any problem. Long ago I had visited the Dental ward of Hi-Tech hospital in Bhubaneswar. But today I found it without any problem.

Even right at the front of the entrance, I got a place to park my vehicle. Now I entered. The place was so lonely I thought whether it is closed? But no. A nurse was sitting. She did the basic tests to check whether I am Covid affected or not. Everything was fine.

The blessing here was -- I was the only person there to be checked in such a big hospital.

Then, she asked me to deposit the fees. Another blessings -- The fee was Rs.10 only.

At the Dental Ward

The nurse rose from her seat and led me to the dental ward directly which seldom happens. I found, the ward had been sanitized and every person there had worn enough gears as precautionary measures to keep Covid away. This was another blessing. I was the only patient in the whole ward for which two junior doctors and one senior doctor checked me. They went through a discussion among themselves in medical language and informed me --- the tooth should be extracted, but we are sending you to the Conservative department. They will see whether the tooth can be tackled properly without extraction or not. Exactly I was thinking this way. If it could be saved, I should opt for it, of course, not with the cost of a prolonged dental issue that involves pain.

At the Conservative Dept

I went to the Conservative department. There, the expert senior doctor was operating a patient. And the attendant lady asked me to wait. I asked, whether it will take long. She said yes, not before half an hour. I requested to tell the doctor to just check me, if then she will need hours, I am ready to wait. In the meanwhile the said senior lady doctor got irritated a little bit and directly said to me, “I am doing a work here. Once I completely finish it then will check you. You just sit there.” I had no other option but to carry out what she said.

The blessings started again. From somewhere a male doctor who had worn PPE came in and the attendant lady called me for the examination. Now, he checked me and even, for confirmation, showed the X ray of the tooth to the senior lady doctor and discussed with her. Both of them happily discussed my case and he asked another junior doctor to explain me what they decided about my case.

Back at the Dental ward

The junior lady doctor explained me in detail. The zest was it is better to extract the tooth. Accordingly, like she said I came to the earlier ward and intimated them about it. They asked me whether I have eaten anything. I said no. They advised me to have something from the canteen. I asked, so today only I am going to get the tooth extracted? They said yes. I asked -- are you guys will not do the blood tests like BT CT etc, that I have experienced earlier in a Govt hospital? They now asked me whether I have diabetes, or do my blood takes long to clot. I denied both. So they said then you ready for the extraction because you don’t have diabetes and your blood clotting timing is ok.

At the Canteen

Now, like they had advised, I went to the canteen to have some food. When I was taking the food, I was very much frightened to face the extraction of tooth. But there was no other way.

At the Surgery Dept

I visited the dental surgery ward and handed over the documents to the junior doctors present there. Soon, they asked me to pay a fees and the process began.

Extraction of the tooth

A junior doctor extracted the tooth after applying all the precautionary measures in my mouth. I was satisfied. But a small piece was still left to be extracted which he actually could not do. It was tough but I could not feel, because they had applied local anesthesia.

The interesting senior doctor

Now, their senior took over and executed the task perfectly. I recall, he was also humming a song when he was extracting the small piece of tooth. Both he and I knew, it was tough, but he was humming to make the situation normal and I really enjoyed it. Here the blessing was -- there were about 10 to 12 people including junior doctors, paramedic staff and a senior doctor. The Blessings was -- I was the only patient there and all these people were working for me. Everything finished with ease and I returned home riding the vehicle myself.

Bottom line

People, who think the way I think, can feel my excitation about how Durga Maa had arranged everything with perfection. It was like; such a big hospital, where they serve hundreds of patients in the Dental section every day, was waiting only for me to serve. Is it not a big blessing by Durga Maa? I truthfully narrated in detail what I felt today. If anybody asks me about proof etc, I cannot give. But I believe, people are still there who shall understand this episode. Lastly, I will owe to Durga Maa forever for all the help She provided me today. Jay Mata Di.
