Brishavanu sutaa, Nandkishori, Raj-rajeshwari Pyari Shree Radha Maiya

Goddess Radherani is the embodiment of divine love and devotion, revered as the eternal consort of Lord Krishna. Radherani is considered the feminine aspect of the absolute truth and Krishna's love personified. She's often depicted as the leader of the Gopis and the originator of the Rasa dance.

According to Hindu mythology, Radherani was born in Rawal, a small town near Gokul in present day Uttar Pradesh, to King Vrishbhanu and Queen Kirtida. Legend has it that she was found floating on a lotus leaf in the Yamuna River and didn't open her eyes until Krishna appeared before her. This symbolizes her deep devotion and love for Krishna.

Radherani is worshipped for her unparalleled love and devotion towards Krishna. Her story emphasizes the importance of spiritual growth, divine union, and the power of love. She's often revered as an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi and is believed to possess the energy to attract even Krishna with her love. Devotees celebrate Radhastami, her birth anniversary, with great fervor, highlighting her divine love and significance in Hinduism.
