A Mother's Intuition: Unveiling the Mystical Connection between the Goddess and Her Devotees

Bhubaneswar: On 19^th October 2024 I had a wish to eat the ‘Anna Bhoga’ (Rice meal offering) to Maa Laxmi. It was the time when the Gajalaxmi puja was going on. However, my wish could not be fulfilled because I had to rush to my office. That day I was supposed to do the afternoon shift that is 3 pm to 11 pm.

At home in the lunch I don’t recall what I had, but I know I could not have Anna Bhoga offered to Maa Laxmi.

I went to the office and started doing my work. After a few hours at about 7 pm or 7.30 pm I wanted to go for a break to have some snacks. My collogue Nihar Babu also wanted to join me. Both of us wanted to have some pure snacks.

We went to two three shops but returned from there as we could not get anything of choice. We then came back and decided to the other side of office towards N3 of Nayapalli (in Bhubaneswar, Odisha) where some pure snacks shop is there.

At the chowk Maa Gajalaxmi Puja was going on. And when we reached the place the organisors of this puja committee were starting distribution of Anna Bhoga meal. Nihar Babu and me saw each other and shared a smile. Without saying anything we got convinced that the co-incidence was clearly arranged by Goddess Laxmi maa. 

As if she was saying, “Son, you wanted to have Anna Bhoga, but that could not be possible due to your busy schedule during the lunch hour today. Here, I give you an opportunity to fulfill your wish. Have Anna Bhoga here. My devotees are providing it even without any cost.”

We stood in the queue. It was a complete meal of offering that contained Anna, Dalma, Khata and khiri I think. Nihar Babu and me had the bhoga peacefully and thanked Goddess Laxmi Maa for fulfilling my wish.
